Birthday Celebrations Colour Challenge

Hey all!
I'm back with today's Colour Challenge on SCS. My fellow dirty girl, Jodi, has given us a super cool combo!
Choc chip, Really rust and Baja breeze
Love this CC!
I used the Upsy Daisy set and did a little sponging and paper piercing along the edges.
Thanks for stopping by again!

SUInk Happy Thanksgiving

Today it's my turn to share a sneak peek from SUInk.

In Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving much earlier than my friends in the US. So I was happy to receive these holiday sets early. We always seem to miss out on Thanksgiving sets.
The set I am showing you today is called Bountiful Harvest.
There are many images in the set but I chose to use the young girl as my main image. She was coloured with my Copic markers and the edges sponged with More Mustard. I even pulled out the sewing machine for this card...don't look too closely at my sewing though ;)
There are still some sneak peeks to be seen with Mary Jo and Jen.
Stamps: Bountiful Harvest; Cardstock: Old Olive, More Mustard, White and Haiku DP; Inks: Memento Black, More Mustard; Accessories: Copics, Sewing Machine, 5/8" Old Olive Ribbon, Large Oval Punch, Designer Label Punch, Dimensionals and Sponges
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be back later with a Colour Challenge card.

Live Like You Mean It Mojo55

Good Afternoon!
I'm back with a super quick card for Julee's Mojo55 sketch. I hadn't inked up this hostess set yet and figured it was a good time to do so today ;)
This card measures 4.25 x 4.25. I let the tag hang over the edge because it will still fit in a regular sized envelope.
Stamps: Live Like You Mean It; Cardstock: Old Olive, So Saffron, WW and Haiku DP; Inks: Pumpkin, Saffron, Olive; Accessories: Rich Regal Brads, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by! Now I must get back to working on my Dirty Dozen cards for the upcoming gallery.

SUInk sneak peek schedule

Good Morning!
I don't have anything to show you YET today ;) Yesterday I worked on my Dirty Dozen cards and also some birthday gifts for a friend. I'll be back after working on some SCS challenges!

Saturday Challenges

Good Saturday Morning!
Today I have a card for you that combines our Our Creative Corner Challenge with Lauren's Saturday Sketch. It's great when you can combine two challenges if time is limited ;)
Amy is our September hostess at the OCC and she asked us to make a card with stitching. It could be hand, machine or faux BUT it could not be white ;)
Ok ok...so I used white but only because I couldn't figure out how to load another bobbin in my machine...haha...soooooooooooooo I sponged it with Sage Shadow ink. I think it turned out pretty good considering I do NOT sew. The Always stamp set goes pretty darn good with the Autumn Vine DP. I coloured it with my SU! markers to match.
Check out the OCC girls blogs to see their creations and details.
Don't forget if you upload to SCS to use the keywords OCCC so we can find ya!
Hop on over to Lauren's blog to see her fun sketch! Then pop by the Saturday sketch teams blogs to see what they cooked up too!
If you upload a card with this sketch please use keywords mytimess07.
Stamps: Pretty Amazing and Best Yet; Cardstock: Really Rust, Creamy Caramel, Sage Shadow, Choc Chip, WW and Autumn Vine DP; Inks: Creamy Caramel, Choc Chip, Sage Shadow, Really Rust, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: Circle punches, Circle Nesties, Choc chip Grosgrain, Gold Elastic cord, Sponges, Embossing Folder, Quickie Glue pen and Gliter, Dimensionals
Friday meant it was time for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I was able to combine it with the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS. This week we were to make a holiday card with a critter and the only embellishment we could use was ribbon. Perfect for Beate's sketch! Luckily, Christine from All That Scraps had sent me this Lulu's Sweet Delights set since I didn't own any CC Design holiday stamps. That was sweet of her!
Stamps: Lulu's Sweet Delights; Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, WW and My Mind's Eye DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Nesties, Baja Ribbon, Dimensionals
Today starts some new sneak peeks from Storage Unit, Inks & More! Hop on over to Lauren and Bethany's blogs to see what is up!
Thanks for stopping by today!
I will be back later to show you something made with my new LONG Rectangle Nesties that I picked up from Peggy(waving Hi Peggy) last night. You can find them and many other goodies at her online store PaperWorksCo.

American Crafts DP showcase....

Yeah! It's the weekend! Do you have any special plans?
Tonight I'm meeting my friend Peggy from Paper Works. I am getting the Long Rectangle Nesties from her store and I can't wait! She's been a doll to hold them for me til we could meet tonight. Tomorrow we are meeting my girlfriend from Calgary. It'll be a surprise for Chloe!
Yesterday's Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS was Charms. I looked through and couldn't find any SU! things to use so there is no SU! only card today....lol
I did however find these little star charms in my drawer. They went well with the American Crafts DP and the SU! set In the Stars.
Not sure you have noticed but I always try to co-ordinate my colours, paper and embellishments. I see other people make cards that the ribbon is a different colour or something and they MAKE it work AND it looks good! I try....I fail....lol
So anyway....back to my card....this was what I came up with.
Stamps: In The Stars; Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, Choc Chip, WW and American Crafts DP; Inks: Old Olive; Accessories: SU! Scalloped Edge Punch, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Choc Chip Ribbon, Misc Star Charm, Dimensionals
It's been a couple of weeks since I had a little extra time to play along with the MFT sketch on SCS. Cindy always has wonderful sketches! Unfortunately, the image I used was a little big for the sketch ;)
Stamps: MFT Here's The Scoop; Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Choc Chip, WW and American Crafts DP(both sides); Inks: Choc Chip and Memento Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Primas, White Brads, Choc Poly Twill and Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Thank You for your Friendship

Happy Thursday!
I'm sooooooooooo excited! Tonight is the FIRST Oiler hockey game I can watch on TV! It's still pre-season but I'm going to enjoy it all the same! Let's hope there is a lot to cheer about!! For those friends close by...just a FRIENDLY reminder...don't call me during the game....that's what intermissions are for ;)
Here is an *almost* ALL Stampin' Up! only card. If SU! would come out with WHITE brads...I'd be set!
This card was for the Sketch Challenge yesterday on SCS. My UPS dude had dropped off this Upsy Daisy set that had been on back order and I couldn't wait to ink it up!
I really like how this card came out and it's going to be making it's way to a friend very soon!
Stamps: Upsy Daisy; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Regal Rose, WW and Sweet Always DP; Inks; Choc chip and Regal rose; Accessories: 1/4" and 1/2" circle punches, White Brads, Regal rose ribbon, Dimensionals, White brads
Are you ready to see an adorable card????
LOOK at this new stamp set from All That Scraps. It's called My Rubber Ducky and it's available as a set or in a kit. You can find all the detail at All That Scraps.
I decided to use my fave monkey on my card...he's too cute! I added some stardust stickles to the foam on his head on tub. Of course I used some of my new favourite American Crafts DP! The corner was created with a 1 3/4" square cut in half and the SU! scallop edge punch along the one side. I pierced the circle and corner to match the buttons on the paper.
Stamps: My Rubber Ducky; Cardstock: PTI White, Old Olive, Soft Sky and American Crafts DP; Inks: Memento Black, SU! Markers; Accessories: Copics, Circle and Oval Nesties, Old Olive Ribbon, Stardust stickles, Paper Piercer, SU scalloped edge punch, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!

It's another busy day for me. I'll be at the school most of the day and then tonight we have our first BPA meeting.
Yesterday before the race started I had a chance to play along in the Featured Stamper on SCS. This week it is Shannon aka E3Stamper. She has a fabulous Fall card HERE. I loved the layout so I kept that and went with a Winter theme instead.
When I was on vacation last month I picked up this fabulous CHF set by Kim Hughes called Heart Warmers. It goes so well with this new My Mind's Eye DP!!

Denise...be sure and wave to Jeff for me ;)

My fellow OCC girls:

My chipboard was inked up with Choc Chip Craft ink and then I dumped Heat and Stick Powder on. Then heated it up and dumped on SU! Microbeads. It's really pretty IRL. I stamped the dress from the new set Humor in High Heels onto watecolour paper. It was coloured with my Aqua Painter and re-inkers.

Stampin' Up! Only Card

Good Thursday Morning!
Yep, it's official....I've come down with my first cold of the season....lol
Yesterday was very busy getting ready for our Family BBQ at the school but I did manage to squeeze in one card early in the morning.
This is a Stampin' Up! ONLY card!
The sketch on SCS yesterday was a fabulous one to showcase some designer papers.
I'd ordered the Sherbet DP so that I could use some Temp Turq, Gable Green and Green Galore more often. I don't know about you but these colours tend to frighten me...haha
I think it turned out pretty good though.

Good Wednesday Morning
I think I'm coming down with my first cold of the season....wonderful...ugh! Today is going to be super busy as it's our Family BBQ tonight at the school and there is quite a bit of prepartion still to do. Oh heck...everything still...haha!
This week Jen challenged the All That Scraps Design Team to a colour challenge. We hope that you will play along and if you upload to SCS to put ATSDTC18 in the keywords so we can see :)
My card uses a few different stamp sets. Sugarplums Olivia, cupcake from It's My Birthday and the sentiment is from Boutique Sentiments. All are available at ATS.
Denise challenged the Design Team from SUInk to use a minimum of FIVE stamps on a card...they could be from different sets as well. If you play along and upload to SCS please use keyword SUINKWWC6 and we can check 'em out!
I'm in a Fall mood these days, even if we are having unusually warm weather here. I had shorts on yesterday and it's due to be hot again today! Good BBQ weather ;)
My card uses exactly five stamps....I know....cutting it close eh?!
I used images from the Leaf It To Me set.

Thanks for stopping by today!

My SU! order is due to arrive soon....I can't wait! I ordered a bundle of new DP!!!

Good Monday Morning!
I've got a SUPER busy week ahead and I'm not too sure how much stamping I'm going to get in....which is a total bummer!
It's a tree day on my blog...lol
