Good Morning!
I'm glad this week is over and my volunteering days are done.

Here is my OCC card for today. The challenge was to use two or more hearts somewhere on yoru design. I also used Lauren's sketch for this one too! Stop by the OCC blog to see all the wonderful samples the girls came up with!
Today is Denise's last day with the OCC...I'll miss working with her each week :(

My next card is a preview of Diane aka cookiestamper's new set coming out at All That Scraps and it's called Cookie Jar. She has some super cute images and another set called Cookie Jar-gon for sentiments....love them! Check out the ATS blog to see all the fun samples!

Taylor had her TECC53 sketch posted before I had to leave yesterday morning so I whipped up this cute little card. I've used more of that fabulous MM Chloe's Closet DP with the Year of Sweets 1 and A Year of Sweet Sentiments from the TE store.
Stamps: A Year of Sweet Sentiments, Year of Sweets 1; Cardstock: Brocade Blue, So Saffron, Marigold Morning, White and MM Chloe's Closet DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, MM Chloe's Closet Embellishments, Punches, Dimensionals
The Limited Supply Challenge yesterday was a CAS(Clean and Simple) card. I used more Loop to Loop rub ons. Had my first order arrived I would have used the Sweet Little Sentiments instead of Best Yet. This would make a great workshop card showing off some wonderful SU! products!
Stamps: Best Yet; Cardstock: Brocade Blue, WW; Inks: Craft White; Accessories: Loop to Loop rub ons, Scalloped edge punch, Mat pack and paper piercer, Brocade blue ribbon
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope now that my volunteering is finished I will have more time to work on larger projects. I have things I want to alter, gift sets to create and tutorials to try. So keep an eye out for more fun things to come!

Good Morning!
Yesterday was a very productive day at the school. We got a lot accomplished but it's back there again today...for another full day :)
Luckily I had this card finished since last week for the challenge...otherwise I'm not sure I would have found time to play along.
It's the All That Scraps Brads Galore Challenge and you'll be able to see what the other girls have done on the ATS blog a little later today.
I used the Gingersnaps Hey Cupid! set.

Friendship Cards

Good Morning!
Yesterday was super busy at the school....I didn't realize gluing white paper to cardboard was hard work....lol...today we are cutting shapes out of that stuff...fun eh?!
Last evening Jessie aka Knightrone asked if a couple of the DD girls could help make a sample for the Colour Challenge as she is covering for Emily while she is at CHA.
I sort of freaked out again when I heard Garden Green...turned out I had a harder time with the Pacific Point.
CC203 is Garden Green, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point
I pulled out Season of Friendship again ;)
For the card below I combined the Mojo71 sketch and the Try a New Technique Challenge....Paper Pleats.

I used Chat's Tutorial HERE for the flower.

It's a PINK day!

Good Morning!
Wow this week is flying by! Last night I had some girlfriends over for an Epicure Party {waving hi to Liane, Bonnie, Kelly, Brenda, Sandy, Laura, Lisa and Lisa}
Yesterday's SCS colour challenge was a Regal rose, Bravo burgundy and Kiwi kiss. I wasn't sure HOW to get Kiwi in there so I went ultra simple....a scalloped circle! The stamp set Comfy Valentine from H & M stamps was sitting on my table and instead of putting it away, I decided to use it! I also used a new Martha border punch that Brian bought me. I had forgotten about it...oops! It's cute but sure does make a mess with all the little circle pieces falling out. I could only use whisper white too...any other cardstock was too thick and wouldn't punch...anyone else have that problem?
Stamps: Comfy Valentine; Cardstock: White, Regal Rose, Bravo Burgundy, Kiwi Kiss and BG Bittersweet DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle nesties, Regal Rose Ribbon, Martha Heart border punch, dimensionals
It's Wednesday! Time for another ATS design team challenge. I can't remember the last time I did faux stitching! I like to poke a lot of holes in my cardstock or doodle with my white gel pen but I can't recall using them together in a very long time...lol
Just yesterday I was chatting with Cindy Haffner on the phone and said I rarely use Pixie Pink or Pink Passion....well no more than an hour later, I was cutting into some Pixie Pink...haha!
I've used a cute set by Diane aka cookiestamper called Cupcake Occasions. There are sooooooo many toppers to use with this set! Stop by the ATS blog a little later this morning to see what the girls came up with. If you play along and upload to SCS or the ATS gallery please put keyword ATSDTC33 in so we can find them :)
Stamps: Cupcake Occasions; Cardstock: Pixie Pink, Choc Chip, PTI white and AC Romance DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Nesties, Heart Trio Punch, May Arts Ribbon, Mat pack and Paper piercer, White gel pen, dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

So Glad We're Friends

Good Morning!
After grocery shopping yesterday I headed down to the basedump to stamp! The Featured Stamper was Lori Craig. She is such a sweet person and has a wonderful gallery! I decided to case one of her Whipper Snapper cards. This past week I was lucky to receive some stamped images from my good friend, fellow dirty girl and OCC buddy....Denise! She'd sent me some super cute Whipper Snapper images and I couldn't wait to colour them in. I was a little intimidated by the sheep...so I did a really light grey around the inside.
Anyway, back to Lori and her card I CASED...lol
THIS is the card I chose out of her gallery.
Stamps: Whipper Snapper; Cardstock: So Saffron, Bashful Blue, White and Jr. Varsity DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Copics, Black Pen, Circle Nesties, Blue Gingham, Dimensionals

Belinda Bumperboots

Good Sunday Morning!
Yesterday I hit a few local stamp stores and Michael's. I really didn't find too much except this super cool Making Memories Line called Chloe's Closet. Of course I HAD to buy all the stuff! LOL! Chloe was so excited when I got home she wanted me to make a card with it.
I hadn't yet played along with Jen's SFYTT. She and Kirsten had both used a Stamping Bella image so I thought...what the heck...so would I!
Belinda Bumperboots hadn't seen ink in awhile...if ever....she's cute eh?! I added some Stardust stickles to her wings and some Glossy Accents to the raindrops and puddle.
Stamps: Belinda BumperBoots, Love You Much; Cardstock: PTI Lemon Tart, PTI White, SU! Bordering Blue, MM Chloe's Closet DP; Inks: Memento Black, Bordering Blue; Accessories: Copics, MM Chloe's Closet Buttons, Small and Large Oval Punches, Linen Thread, dimensionals, Stardust Stickles, Glossy Accents

Super Saturday!

Good Morning!
It's going to be BEAUTIFUL here this weekend! I LOVE when it's above freezing! THIS sort of winter weather, I can handle ;)
Earlier this week I received my new stamps from Taylored Expressions. This cupcake from Love is Sweet worked so well with Lauren's Saturday Sketch! Are you diggin' these cute colours? I found them on THIS site from the other day.
I used PTI white with Soft Sky, Barely Banana, Regal Rose and Light Purple Core'dinations.
Want to see what the other Saturday Sketch Girls have done:
Stamps: Love is Sweet; Cardstock: PTI white, Soft Sky, Barely Banana, Regal Rose, Purple Core'dinations; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Word Windo Punch, Heart Trio Punch, Xyron Machine, Glitter, Dimensionals, Copics, Circle Punch
I almost didn't get to play in the Our Creative Corner Challenge this week because it was the Emboss Resist Technique and my heat gun was not working. Finally found one and I got to work! I used Taylor's TECC51 sketch challenge for my layout. I stamped the Upsy Daisy image in Versamark and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder...then ran my brayer over it with Riding Hood Red ink.
Stamps: Upsy Daisy; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red , Choc Chip, WW and Candy Lane DP; Inks: Choc Craft,Riding Hood Red, Versamark; Accessories: Clear EP, Nesties, Buttons, Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Brayer

Good Friday Morning!

Good Friday Morning!
I thought I was going to be gone on day field trip with Chloe's class but as of right now I'm not ;) Some other parent's finally stepped up after the teacher sent a note home saying it would be cancelled without more help. Although I do enjoy helping out when I can I'm finding myself getting burned out from it all. The excitement isn't there like it used to :(
Anyway, you came by today to see some cards right?!
The All That Scraps DT are doing a Review/Preview of AmyR's Wedding and Sentiment sets today. I chose to use a sentiment on my card. I REALLY like how this came out!! The cardbase and sentiment circle are Shimmery White and then I paired it up with some PTI Lemon Tart and Chocolate papers.
The Ways To Use It Challenge was to find a colour combo you liked. I browsed the suggestion site here. Then chose one called Living Room...well when I went back to find the exact one, I couldn't...lol But the colours were along these lines:
Ruby Red, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose and Going Gray.
I decided to use the Happy Heart Day set and paper pieced the elephant with some Sweet Always DP. Stardust stickles were added to the hearts.
Thanks for stopping by today!
