Well yesterday didn't turn out to be very nice....the kids stayed inside again for recess because of the windchill. I swear to goodness...the weather better turn around soon or I'm going to lose it!
I have so much stuff to do around the house but with the weather so cold I would rather just craft...so that's what I did....lol
The SCS challenge was to make an Origami Box and you can find the link HERE.
This first box is smaller than the instructions as I wanted a SU! only project that could done with a club.
This is what I changed from the tutorial:
The DP is an 8 x 8 square...folded the same way.
The Riding Hood Red is an 8 x 3 1/2 piece of cardstock that is scored at 3 1/4 from both ends.
Since the box is smaller I found the cardstock to be sturdy enough...no need for chipboard ;)
Stamps: Love You Much; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla and Candy Lane dp; Inks: Close to Cocoa, Bravo Burgundy Marker; Accessories: Scalloped edge punch, Scalloped punch, Circle punch, Heart Trio punch, Riding Hood Taffeta ribben, Dimensionals
This box was made using the directions on SCS. I've used the My Favorite Valentine set from H & M Stamps with more yummy American Crafts DP! Are you surprised? LOL!
