Evergreen Sparkles

Thank goodness it's Friday and tomorrow is the weekend!

I haven't had much stamping time this past week as work has exhausted me.
However, I do have a card to show you that I created on Sunday with some scraps.
After embossing with the spots folder I decided to flip it over to give it a more subtle look.
The bits of sparkle on the trees is from Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam Hammered Copper that I painted on with a little brush.
Stamps: Evergreen
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Vanilla, EP Seasons Greetings dp
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Summer starfruit
Accessories: SAMJ, Circle Nestie, Embossing Folder, Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam Hammered Copper, Paint Brush, Dimensionals

Today there will be a new MFT sketch up so I thought I had better catch up on my posts and cards made from last week.

This was the MFT sketch #99.
I pulled out the fun Let's Grab Drinks and mixed it with some Doodlebug North Pole papers.

Merry Monday #43

Good Monday Morning!

This week I was invited to play along with the Merry Monday Sketch girls and I am thrilled!

It's always a fabulous sketch!!
Check it out!
For my card I really wanted to spell out something.
I take everything literally.
So six circles means I use six circles....lol
I may BEND the rules a bit(my circles are staggered) but I'm not a rule breaker ;)
I started out by choosing my papers from the super cute Doodlebug paper pad called North Pole. The fun and bright colours are right up my alley!
After that I punched out six circles with two different SU! punches.
The letters were die cut with the MFT By the Letter set and the holly die is from PTI.
The sentiment comes from the PTI set called Wonderful Words Holiday.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Season's Greetings PP123

Hello :)

Today the Paper Players have a wonderful sketch posted and I do hope you'll find a little spare time to play along with us!

Since I'm still working on more holiday cards I decided on a snowflake theme.
The snowflakes, scallops and sentiments are from MFT.
This was a fairly quick and easy card. Could be one to mass produce for a set.

O Christmas Tree

So did everyone do a little shopping yesterday?
I know it was Black Friday in the States and there are CRAZY deals!
We TRIED to do the same in Canada but honestly, it's not the same. 30% to 40% isn't a great deal....in my opinion. I looked and bought zip!

We were going to head to Banff today but there are so many other things to do that it'll have to wait. Maybe until tomorrow ;)

Last Monday I played along with the Mojo sketch #268.
I just love this tree! Looks like newly fallen snow is resting on the branches. Such pretty sentiments in this set from Verve too!
Stamps: O Christmas Tree
Paper: Vanilla, Old Olive, EP This & That Christmas dp
Ink: Old Olive, Black
Accessories: Circle Nesties, Rhinestones, copics, dimensionals

It's cold and snowy here and it's really helping to get me in the holiday spirit!

Then next weekend it will be the Christmas tree. Hard to believe we are only one week from December!
Wow!

Hope that all my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday!

On Monday evening I created this card for the Merry Monday Sketch #42.

Snowman CAS card

Hello :)

This has been my lucky week!
Earlier a card of mine was the Top Pick for the Merry Monday sketch.
Then a couple of days ago this card below was chosen on the Freshly Made Sketches blog.
A very quick and easy card!
I die cut some hills and snowman using PTI dies. Sponged on some white craft ink on a piece of kraft card stock. Rounded the corners and popped it up on dimensionals.
Thought about adding glitter to the hills but thought this would make a great masculine card for one of my supervisors.

Stamps: In the Meadows Silhouettes
Paper: Crumb Cake
Ink: White Craft, Black
Accessories: PTI In the Meadows dies, sponges, dimensionals

Your Next Stamp Challenge #25- sketch

He's coloured with copics and I added a bit of Clear Atyou Spica Pen to the hat and also some small red rhinestones to the rocking horse. The papers are from EP This & That Christmas.

Merry Christmas to All PP122

Welcome back to another week for a Paper Players Challenge.

If you are interested in joining the Paper Players Challenge Team please read up on their blog.

This week it's CAS and colour challenge:

This is what I've created using Papertrey Ink dies and stamps.
I found a sheet of SU! silver cardstock in my files and was thrilled!
Honestly, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to play along as I know I didn't have gold anything....not a gold fan....lol Thought I'd used up all my silver cardstock too.
Anyway, the sentiment is stamped in Pool Party and a little pool party baker's twine was used. I die cut the Merry using Holiday Words by PTI.

Today is the LAST Nascar race of the season :(
No hockey and no more racing makes for a sad girl.
I'll enjoy today in my craft room stamping and watching the race though!

Have a wonderful day!

Merry Christmas SSSC172

Hello and Happy Sweet Sunday Sketch Time!

This week Karen has a nice Clean & Simple sketch for us :)

This one stumped me at first. Wasn't sure what to put where the star was and then I realized I had some mittens that I'd made a while back sitting on my desk. Perfect! I'll use those!
This is a SU! only card created with some Snow Festival DSP. Stamps are from Make a Mitten and also Owl Occasions.

Stop by Karen's blog to link up your creation and to visit the rest of the team see below:
Our gues stamper this week is Carole Burrage!!

Happy Saturday!

I'm SO happy it's the weekend!
Geez it's felt like an very long week!

This morning after Brian and I got home from weekly breakfast date, I got straight to work!

I decided to warm up with this Freshly Made Sketch #61 card.
Here I've used some MFT dies and sentiment along with some Taylored Expression flowers.

Mojo 267 and TLC403

Only two more work days!
Yeah!
Here's hoping they fly by!

Having Monday off was wonderful and I was able to play along with a few different challenges.
Here I have combined the Mojo Sketch #267 with the TLC Challenge #403 on SCS of folded trees.
Those trees are so easy to make!
Yesterday Carole asked how I create this window box with supplies. I actually just copy and paste it here from my SCS gallery :) No need to type it twice....KWIM?

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello
Thanks for stopping by today!

On Monday I created this card using a bunch of MFT dies.
Last year for Christmas I had made a card using just the fence and birdhouse but while cleaning up my dies I came across this branch and leaf die. Since it's winter, I left the leaves off ;)
I think this would be okay for one of my male supervisors. No ribbon and one little rhinestone....lol
Stamps: MFT
Paper: Crumb Cake, EP dp
Ink: Black
Accessories: MFT branch die, mft homespun birdhouse die, mft fence die, mft fishtail dies, dimensonals. mft pennant dies(pole), red rhinestone

Happy Holly-Days Flip Top Box

Hello!

After having three days off in a row I just never feel like going back to work.
Anyone else ever feel that way?
Why can't I win the lottery and retire.
I'd move somewhere that never snows ;)
But I digress. It's back to work today!

Last week one of the holiday blitz tutorials on SCS was a Flip Top Box.
You know like a crayon box?
Super cool and really easy once you watch Beate's video tutorial.
I made two so far :)

Here's the first one....

Stamps: Holly Girl
Paper: Crumb cake, gumball green, real red, white, Carta Bella Merry & Bright DP
Ink: Memento Black
