Red Flag Racin' means I get to stamp!

I normally don't like when there is a rain delay during a Nascar race but today....it worked out okay for me! I was able to get two cards done for Sherry and Jeanne's Just Because We Wanna Challenge! This week it is a layout...funny how you can make such different cards with the same layout! The first card uses the Apple Cider DP with the True Friend Stamp Set.
The second card uses Scenic Route DP and Zoofari Stamp Set. I'm almost out of the Scenic Route DP and I'll be sad if I can't find it anymore :(
I think the cards are pretty straight forward so I won't bother listing the supplies today. I've got about 20 minutes before we go green again! I'll grab a late lunch now!

Both cards are just fabulous! I don't like red flag racing either, and I really detest when they end a race on the red flag let alone a caution flag.

So now you have to tell me who your favorite driver is. I loved it today when they showed the early pictures of Mark Martin and Rusty Wallace. They were taken at an ASA race when my dad was Director of Racing for ASA and both of these guys ran with us every week. I can't remember the name of the photographer, but he is the photographer that was hit by the chair when Bobby Knight threw it across Assembly Hall.

I've been a racing fan since I was little wee thing. My dad drove the beach at Daytona when it was the Nascar Sportsman Division in the M2 Hudson for Fish Carberator. Then when he retired from racing he became a Racing Director/Manager for local tracks here in Louisville. Soon after ASA started, he was hired as their Director of Racing and went from there to AllPro. He promoted ARCA as well here in our area.

Of course, I always cheer for Mark Martin. I have known him since we were both 16 and he started driving for my dad. I just can't help myself -- other than that I sit and watch and rant and rave cause it's not racing anymore.

Was that not the longest race ever? LOL Gooooooo Casey - 3rd in the Busch race and 4th in the Cup race - yipppppeee! LOL @ Tony - ohhh how I can't stand that fat bastard.

Oh yeah - these cards are awesome (as usual) - the first one almost looks Asian to me...and the hippo/rhino one (I don't know animals) is too cute!
